Is it that time already? It’s safe to say this year has flown by! Now, it's not like me to be early and organised (they don’t call me Busy Lizzie for nothing!) but this year I’m all wrapped and ready, if you can believe it! I’ve decided to let you in on my top secret Christmas gift guide, so you can spend less time frantically shopping amongst the crowds on Christmas Eve and more time snuggling up with a hot chocolate and a mince pie in front of a classic Christmas film - that’s what Christmas is all about, after all!
If there’s anyone who deserves to be spoiled rotten at Christmas, it’s Mum (hint, hint, Ellie and Joe!) so why not treat the special woman in your life to a luxurious fabric treat? Keep her cosy this Winter with a cashmere jumper, faux fur slippers or perhaps a brand new luxury wool throw. What do you buy the brother who spends his weekends out in the countryside walking his dogs? A car boot protector will come in handy in wetter weather when the dogs just can’t help rolling around in those muddy puddles. I know I speak for many Mums when I say I always seem to be way off when choosing clothes or makeup as a gift, but I usually don’t go wrong with gorgeous home furnishings. What can I say, I’m an interior goddess!
With the Great British Bake Off finally over, the star baker in your family will be getting ready to put their skills and knowledge to the test in the form of some yummy Christmas goodies. Say a big thank you to them by gifting them a brand new set of kitchen accessories. You never know, they may repay the favour with a delicious batch of treats!
