Love From Lizzie

Valentine’s Day 2025 is fast approaching—one of my favourite times of the year, as it’s a dedicated moment to celebrate love in all its shapes and forms, both for others and ourselves ❤️
This year, my particular favorite valentine, bar my lovely husband Ady, is my dog Bob. Bob, like I’m sure most of your dogs, is always by my side (I’m his Valentine every day), securing a special place in my heart. He also plays a big role in our company, making it truly family-run with his regular appearances in front of the camera during our product shoots. He just can’t get enough of the mats, and who can blame him.
While I love to make a special effort to make close ones around me feel extra loved at this time of the year, self-love has always been paramount to me. My grandfather set this precedent by always saying, “A person is as beautiful as they think they are”. I truly believe this to be true and like to make a little extra effort in focusing on the things that make me feel beautiful around this time. While this often involves a face mask (although Ady doesn’t understand why a green face mask makes me feel beautiful), or a little extra sweet treat, making people smile is the most effective 🥰
I often feel the pressure of grand, elaborate Valentine’s Day gestures, which can take away the sparkle. That’s why I like to focus on giving gifts that elevate mine and my Valentine's daily routines. This year, I’ve chosen to update my Hug Rugs with our new designs.
Keeping the house stylish, particularly after seeing all the inspiration during our Paris trip, is one of my favorite ways to show self-love, especially since Bob loves them after our morning walk. Plus, they help keep the house nice and clean, which is the oldest trick in the book to make Ady smile, giving me the perfect excuse to justify it as an overall Valentine’s Day gift …
