Prepare For Whatever Comes Through The Door at Christmas With Washable Mats & Rugs

The decorations are officially up, the advent calendar is out and the fridge is fully stocked with wine - it must be Christmas! It's just around the corner now and I’m so excited, I’m in full on preparation mode for the holidays now. I’ve written my shopping list (plenty of wine, Bailey’s and chocolates), done almost all of my Christmas shopping and started on my festive cleaning to get the house ready.
As much as I love a clean house, I’m not big on the cleaning process (is anybody?!), so I like to make things as easy as I can. That’s where my secret weapons come into play - I’m talking about washable mats and rugs of course! Let me share with you how washable rugs and mats are ideal for making cleaning a breeze and preparing your home for whatever comes through the door this Christmas.
Protect Floors From Muddy Feet, Paws & More!
As much as I love Christmas, there’s one thing I hate about this season - all the mud and moisture that gets tracked across your floors! I don’t have time to be constantly mopping up muddy footprints and Bob’s pawprints, so I always keep a washable Hug Rug mat and runner at my front and back doors. And one of my favourite things about washable mats and rugs is that not only are they fantastically practical but they come in a range of gorgeous colours and designs too! You can use them in so many different places across the home and finding the right space for the right rug can make all the difference.Ideally you want a comfy runner in your hallway and kitchen to protect your tootsies from those cold, hard tiles, a soft, plush rug in your living room to make it feel inviting and a cosy rug under the dining table to catch any crumbs and spills from your festive feast. Of course, a stylish mat by the front and back doors is a must have to stop snowy footprints making their way inside!
